Why You Should Be Part of “The Inside Circle”

What’s community? Well, for many people it’s a sense of cohesiveness within a group. For many years, someone’s community served an important role that offered camaraderie and a support system outside of family. With our lives moving at a much faster pace and technology creating more impersonal communication, busy schedules and the number of times at which we change jobs, homes and locations, it makes it harder to feel the kind of community we once had. We’d like to change that and in the process…make a difference in The Desert Mountain neighborhood.

A little over a year ago, Ann and I initiated a series called “The Inside Circle” and it really has been a lot of fun. We have been to baseball games, visited the MIM, and had a couple of short game tournaments, NCAA Championship games in the Men’s Grill at CG. Over the years we have done this periodically and have made some really great memories. One of our more memorable trips was a drive up to Greer, AZ for an overnight trip to see the fall colors and fly fish. We stayed at a wonderful Bed & Breakfast and took time to enjoy the beauty and just have some fun. In looking on what we have planned for our upcoming events, I have no doubt that more of these great memories will be made, friendships created and a sense of community will grow.

In going forward with the 2015-16 year we have some really great get togethers planned to keep up with our ongoing tradition of building great friendships and networking right here in our North Scottsdale community. We have found with past events that it really helps accelerate the process of making friends (great for those of you whom are new to the area) along with meeting new friends that you may have not otherwise met. Tennis partners are matched and golf buddies found!

In this process of building community and getting to know your neighbors…it will give all of us opportunities to expand within our community personally and professionally; additionally it builds trust, opens communication so we can really utilize this beautiful area that we are a part of.

We have all worked hard…some of us still do…and now it’s time to play hard! Are you ready to be a part if the Inside Circle Series? Send me an email and tell me “I’m in”: Davis@davisdriver.com . We’ll get you on the list and send you an email with our upcoming event…when the time is right for you just R.S.V.P. to that particular event; keep in mind that some events will have limited availability.

See at our next event,
